Public Health Practices receives ongoing sponsorship from the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO). ASTHO is the national non-profit organization representing the 57 state and territorial public health agencies of the United States, US territories, and the District of Columbia.

The Pew Center on the States

Public Health Practices was launched in 2007 as a collaboration between CIDRAP and the Pew Center on the States. The Pew Center on the States is a division of the Pew Charitable Trusts that identifies and advances effective solutions to critical issues facing states.

The Pew Charitable Trusts

Public Health Practices was conceived in conjunction with, and initially funded by, The Pew Charitable Trusts from 2006-2007. The Pew Charitable Trusts is driven by the power of knowledge to solve today's most challenging problems. Pew applies a rigorous, analytical approach to improve public policy, inform the public, and stimulate civic life.
